1. Supervision of the health of cafeterias, dormitories, restaurants, and other university locations, and providing reports to officials and following up on the resolution of issues. 2. Control of food products and sampling of food products and sending them to the laboratory. 3. Inspection of laboratories in terms of environmental health status. 4. Control of the quality of drinking water and performing microbial and chemical sampling of drinking water and transferring it to the central laboratory of the Water and Wastewater Company and obtaining the results. 5. Supervision of water installations, drinking water reservoirs, safety control of gas chlorinator chambers, and following up on disinfection and purification of drinking water. 6. Testing of residual free chlorine on drinking water and recording the results. 7. Supervision of the collection and sanitary disposal of waste, as well as control of the sanitary condition of temporary waste sites. 8. Implementation of pesticide application operations in student dormitories and other university locations. 9. Supervision of the sewage collection and disposal system (septic tanks) and providing necessary suggestions. 10. Providing health guidelines from the Ministry of Health to the unit for regulating contracts for cafeterias, services, bakeries, and buffets. 11. Communication with governmental organizations and agencies to solve some common health problems.
